chest photos
okay, finally, here are some photos of my surgery results. when i was gonna get surgery, it really helped me to look at other people's photos. i hope these are helpful to you. i was especially frustrated because i couldn't find photos of people who'd not taken T, so it was hard for me to imagine what my chest would look like. So the first one is a photo of my chest maybe 2 or 3 months after. still red scars, yellowish bruising still around the middle, and slightly raised in the middle. the next two black and white photos are from around 4 months after surgery. the wierd stripey indentations on my chest are just because i'd just woken up and i'd slept in a ribbed shirt. the final two photos are of me and tara at the dyke march this summer (2002), one and a half years after surgery for me, about 3 months after surgery for tara. in these photos, i've been on a quarter dose of T for about 3 months. this made my pecs a little more developed. no T for tara--just pure athletic muscleness.
